What is MFS?
Mixed formation skydiving, aka MFS, is a disciple that incorporates all flying orientations in a formation skydiving format. MFS is broken into horizontal and vertical oriented rounds. Athletes are required to build formations with their partner on their belly and backs, as well as head-up and head-down. This discipline is a fantastic event on its own, but is also a great stepping-stone for the skills necessary to participate in vertical formation skydiving (VFS).
